


Loja, also known as “flower among thorns”, is a village placed in Granada, in Andalusia at the southest part of Spain. It is a traditional andalousian village which offers the visitor a beautiful waterfall scenery. One of the most important monuments is the Alcazaba, an Arabic fortress built in the IX century. Another important place to visit is Saint Gabriel´s Church. The main economic engine is agriculture, especially since the first ecological reproduction centre in Andalusia was created here.
