The 2nd of October inside Charles V Palace, at the precious monument of the Alhambra, it was celebrated a very important event which prizes the enterprises and individual professionals linked to the very first tourist industry in Andalusia.
In its 4th edition, the Tourist Ministry has conceded Abades Group the best Andalusian tourist enterprise award recognizing this way its brilliant career. Abades Group started creating El Mirador Hotel in the 60’s. Over all this time the Group has experienced a great expansion progress. Due to this fact it has become a very important tourist reference in Andalusia. Abades Group counts on more than 27 establishments and seven different business branches and it is still basing every new project on quality, service and detailed client’s attention.
The award was given to the general director of Abades Group, Julián Martín Arjona, who expressed his happiness and thanked every single person that made it possible to receive this award.
The other awarded businesses were: “La Cónsula Hotel Industry School”-the Tourist Investigation and Training award, “Catedral Hotel and Restaurant”-Excellent Management award; “Hostelsur”- Communication award; “Haciendas y Cortijos Association” – Public Institution or Association award and “Mr. Vicente Romero Testillano” –Andalusian Tourist Worker award.
